My Review of Daniel Bennett's Defending Faith

Earlier this week, for the excellent website The University Bookman, I reviewed Daniel Bennett's Defending Faith: The Politics of the Christian Conservative Legal Movement (2017).

The book is an important and timely contribution to the role of the religious right in the legal conservative movement. But the book overlooks some important trends within legal conservatism. I plan to write more about the religious right's role in law and politics in the coming days.
